These beautiful and durable pieces are hand crafted by Artisan John Fleurant. Artisan Fleurant uses an Ancient technique of wire wrapping to create these exquisitely crafted pieces. It is not known when or where the ancient art of wire wrapping originated. However, Egyptian and Phoenician artists practiced the art over 5,000 years ago, as pieces have been found in the pyramids as well as Egyptian tombs. The ancient Phoenicians are credited with the creation of wire wrapped jewelry. However, Biblical records indicate that Moses was given detailed instructions on the construction of priestly attire, such as the wire-wrapped jewels on the breast plate of Aaron. The wire wrapped method is the only known method of producing metal jewelry that is created completely without soldering or casting. The wire used may be from many different alloys such as copper, brass, sterling silver or gold. Lost for a while in history, this art reappeared during the Victorian Era, where it's popularity surpassed the traditional cast jewelry. In the last 30 years, wire wrapped jewelry has continued to increase in it's popularity due to the uniqueness, flexibility and the creative ability of it's artisans.

2. Wire-wrapped: The wire-wrapped method is the strongest and most durable method of construction. These master crafted rosaries will outlast all others due to the wire wrapping technique in which each bead is wrapped twice, this work is very labor intensive. The wrapped method, besides increasing durability, gives the rosary a very unique and beautiful look.
3. Flex-Wire: Flex-Wire is a multi-stranded Stainless Steel Cable, that is nylon coated.
